Introducing a catalyst for screen media creation
The Edmonton Screen Industries Office was created to support, grow, and catalyze the city’s screen industries ecosystem. We developed a brand positioning strategy and visual identity system to help this new entity put its best foot forward with filmmakers, game developers, and other screen media creators. We built the ESIO logo in the 16:9 aspect ratio of a TV screen, with bold, blocky letters that reference the variety of screens we interact with every day. Our bright and bold colour palette was inspired by video game graphics, and window/frame treatment options made room to showcase Edmonton-made film, TV, and games.
