Boosting engagement + revenue for Edmonton’s signature fair
KDays has been a landmark event for Edmonton since 1879. It’s a shared summer memory that unites a diverse city. But after years of upheaval – including a disastrously unpopular renaming attempt – attendance was dwindling. We refreshed the KDays brand, advertising, and visitor experience in 2023 as part of a multi-year strategy to reignite interest in the fair. With a colour palette plucked directly from photos of Edmonton’s summer skies, improved wayfinding and environment design, and a nostalgic woodblock-style logo that evokes the fair’s history, we helped our client increase online engagement with KDays and revenue from the event.
